The traditional Cuban Sandwich may trace its roots to Florida and the Caribbean, but our recipe has this delicious mix of ham, pork, and melty cheese served up on our SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Slider Bun, a gourmet soft pretzel made in the traditional Bavarian style. And with Eastern Standard Provisions' New England roots, this warm and filling sandwich really is an internationally-inspired snack.
Ingredients
- 6 SlidePiece Soft Pretzel Slider Buns, thawed
- 1 Jar Maui Onion Mustard
- 1 Package White Truffle Salt
- 1 pound pork tenderloin
- 1 pound ham, sliced
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Juice of one lime
- Juice of one orange
- 1 tbsp. ginger, shaved
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- Cheese of choice, for topping
- Tomato slices, for topping
- Alfalfa sprouts, for topping
- Sliced dill pickles, for topping
- 1/2 pound butter
Directions
Pork Marinade
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees, and place pork tenderloin on foil-lined tray
2. Combine olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, cumin, and brown sugar in a bowl
3. Pour over pork tenderloin and let marinate for 30 mins to one hour
4. Roast pork in oven for 20 to 25 minutes until it reaches 140 degrees in the center. Let rest for 15 minutes
5. Carve pork into square slices for sandwiches
Assemble Sandwiches
6. Cut six SlidePiece in half
7. Spread Maui Onion Mustard on the bottom of each bun then top with pork, ham, cheese, pickles, sprouts, tomatoes, and white truffle salt. Add Maui Onion Mustard to top bun then place on top of sandwich
8. Once all sandwiches are assembled, heat butter in a small skillet
9. Heat medium sized skillet on medium high heat, and brush a generous amount of butter onto the pan. Place each sandwich in a buttery spot in the pan.
10. Brush the top of each sandwich with butter, then press down with a plate, small pan, spatula or sandwich press for about 20 seconds.
11. Flip each sandwich, and press again for about 20 seconds.
12. Remove sandwiches from the pan and enjoy with chips, pickle, and a beer!

Leftover corned beef and cabbage
A classic corned beef and cabbage dinner is delicious, but a St. Patrick's Day leftover sandwich is even more delectable. Bring this year's corned beef sandwiches to the next level with our FourSeam Soft Pretzel Buns!
Ingredients:
- FourSeam Pretzel Buns, thawed
- Classic Pretzel Salt
- Maui Onion Mustard
- Leftover corned beef and cabbage
Cooking Instructions:
- Bake two FourSeam buns following our heating instructions, topping it with Pretzel Salt.
- Heat up or (if you prefer cold)- leftover corned beef and cabbage on the stove top or microwave.
- Layer corned beef, cabbage and Maui Onion Mustard on to bottom bun.
- Place top bun over sandwich layers and enjoy!

Our Turnbuckle Soft Pretzel Sticks, thawed

Your favorite hot dog brand (we used Nathan’s all-beef dogs)

Sriracha ketchup

Chopped white onion

Shredded cheddar cheese

Chopped Thai chili peppers (optional, they are HOT!)
Spice things up with this hot and sweet recipe made all the more interesting by the addition of our Turnbuckle Soft Pretzel Sticks.
Ingredients
- Turnbuckle Soft Pretzel Sticks, thawed
- Chili Lime Salt
- Maui Onion Mustard
- Your favorite hot dog brand (we used Nathan’s all-beef dogs)
- Sriracha ketchup
- Chopped white onion
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped Thai chili peppers (optional, they are HOT!)
Instructions
- Bake as many Turnbuckles as needed according to instructions. Top with Chili Lime Salt.
- Grill hotdogs at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes (depending on how well done you like them), turning occasionally.
- Once baked, slice the Turnbuckles lengthwise like a hotdog bun (careful, they’ll be HOT!).
- Add cheese into the Turnbuckle first and then place the dogs on top to melt the cheese.
- Top the dog with Sriracha ketchup, white onions, our Maui Onion Mustard, and Thai chili peppers.
- Pour a cold beer and dig in!

So, I ordered a large box, and OMG these were by far the best pretzels I ever ate, I saved them for an Easter party and everyone loved them! I'm from the mountains of North Carolina and we have a lot of biscuits and corn bread places here. A perfect sweet onion mustard. Pairs excellently with their pretzels and I would imagine would be great on other foods such as sandwiches or in recipes. I never got to find out as the mustard was gone well before experimentation. I should of easily bought 2 or 3 and so should you.

Ordering And Shipping
Given the perishable nature of our products, we only ship Monday through Friday.
After you submit your order online, it takes 1 to 2 business days to process your order for shipping. All of our shipments are sent via USPS, FedEx, or UPS and takes an additional 2 to 4 days to arrive after your order is shipped.
Please note that our soft pretzels are shipped frozen and intended to thaw in transit. So don’t be concerned when your pretzels arrive thawed. They are sent with priority shipping and are intended to arrive within 3-4 days of leaving our facility, but they will stay fresh for up to 7 days before needing to be refrozen.
If your delivery takes a little longer than expected due to carrier delays, don’t worry. Our soft pretzels are made with all-natural preservatives to ensure their freshness. But it’s important that you open the box upon arrival and either enjoy the pretzels right away or immediately freeze them to preserve their freshness. They will not stay fresh in the box, on the counter, or in the refrigerator. They must be RE-FROZEN.
Due to the perishable nature of our pretzels, we currently only ship our pretzels in the United States.
